Nostalgia: My 2 Year Old
July 21st, 2010 by acmomceeI don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video already, but I just don’t get tired watching it. This is one of my favorites because she sings whatever I ask her to sing and you can say how cute voice she has.
I so miss her when she was 2. That was the time when I can already communicate with her clearly as she can already talk. I was able to stop her from bottle feeding at that age as well by simply explaining that she’s already big enough for bottle and she agreed that same day – not going back to bottle feeding since then. She was potty trained at that age too. There are many memorable milestones she had at that age and I can’t help but try to recall them all now.
This is why we, parents always say, “Enjoy every moment, kids grow up so fast and we can’t get back to the days when they were still young.” In a matter of 2 weeks, Alyssa will be turning 5 and I can’t hold back the time. Little by little, she’s growing up to the person she needs to be and all I can do is watch her grow and be with her while she do.

This is the reason why I always tell my friends to kiss, hug, and play with their kids while they’re still young, we are all young once.

Nakaka-nostalgic to see Kandid moments of your kids nuh? 2 palang sya nun and in two week she’s turning 5. Wow, that does sound time has fly by so quickly. Our little guy doesn’t talk much yet. But he babbles infront of a person as if he’s having a conversation. Your post inspired me to be more diligent in savoring precious times of my kid while he’s still a baby.

Hahaha natuwa ako sa boses ni alyssa, napaka witty nya ano. smart na talaga kahit baby pa. ang cute pakinggan ng boses nya and she really know all those songs, bilib ako. I just drove to the ranch where I grew up and that made me so nostalgic. I’m mourning the loss of my mother and needed to force a little. The memories that brought back were amazing.
