Personalized Gifts for Teachers

August 5th, 2010 by

Everytime Alyssa goes to next level, I always make it a point to give something to her teachers as a simple thank you note and as much as possible, I want the gifts personalized. It is for them to feel how thankful I am for all the times that they took good care of my daughter and for all the new things they taught her.

Making Thank You Cards

This was taken right after she arrived from school. I was really expecting that she’ll enjoy doing the cards, but…

There she goes… Zzzzzzzzz!!! Sleeping… waaah!!! Good thing I was able to make her write 3 Thanks You’s before she dozed off.It was hard! My hands are not crafty and so this is a milestone for me. ;)

Gifts for Teachers

Here’s the finished product. I also baked chocolate crinkles and Alyssa wrote a thank you note in each card.

  8. I remembered my daughter when she was in here preschool years, she used to do some handy crafts from used papers and other recycled materials. She’s been telling us, her parents, that in order to have high grades you have to give something special for your teacher. She got her point about that. And I couldn’t just forget how creative she was until now that she do some part time on painting and scupltures. I enrolled her in an exclusive school for fine arts.

That’s sweet of Alyssa and for you to do. Me and my kids also do a similar thing after every school year and the kids love thanking their dear teachers even by doing small stuff for them. It also teaches them to learn how to give back and how to be generous.
