School girl
When Alyssa went to school for the first time, she immediately asked me if they have a preschool playground. Of course any kid would like to be in a school where there is ample space for playing outdoors. Also she asked me if she gets to use her own computer at school, buy her own snack, pick her own bag and so on.
Here’s Alyssa, my beautiful and smart little girl on her first day of school, a major milestone for us her parents, we couldn’t be any prouder of you sweetheart.
School girl
Alyssa had been telling me to get extra crayons and papers for school and I don’t know why I always missed it every time we go to the mall. We would always pass by the office supplies section but still we missed it. I should really stock up on school supplies so we don’t run out. I keep a small stock file as it gets overwhelming but since Alyssa needs it more often now than I thought, I guess it’s about time to shop for more. I heard some store have started their bargains already.
The Different Kinds of Houses
…according to my daughter.
Alyssa said, they’ve been learning about the different kinds of houses and then she enumerated and described as to what she can remember:
- Detached – a house standing alone
- Semi-detached – 2 houses joined together
- Terrace – long row of houses
- Flat – it’s in a bulding
- Bungalow – a house with no upstairs
- Cottage – almost the same as bungalow
- Caravan – “It’s where I want to live, mum. So we can go anywhere and we bring our house with us.”
Oh, my funny cheeky munchkin. I think I’ll have to check for a roadside assistance plan then.
But WOW! Hubby and I were impressed! Are we having an architect? Engineer perhaps?
But it’s brilliant as to how she gives her full attention to the school’s discussions.
