Daddy is so patient teaching her stuff during weekends when mum’s at work. They sing together, daddy shows the actions and Sophia follows. She can understand very well now, at her age of 14 months. She is growing up too fast.

Dancing is a talent she has discovered when she was just 10 months old, and I am hoping she discovers her singing voices soon enough as well. She actually has her toy microphone and she makes a humming sound when playing with it. Who knows in the near future our Sophia will already be using behringer microphones and is singing her heart out.

What’s in her playlist? Well, there’s Butterfly Kisses, Dance with my Father, In my Daughter’s Eyes, Sing Me Your Song Again Daddy, among the many others that are just about kids and parents.

She also has her iPhone dock, but that’s used only when she sleeps in her room. Yes, she co-sleeps with us. And Y-E-S, she’s 7. We love to have her and her little sister in our bed, though we also wanted them to learn how to sleep by themselves. But until they say they don’t want to sleep with us anymore, they are more than welcome to make dad’s feet off the bed. =)

When a newsletter from school came asking parents to provide recorder for the kids, I was really thinking about a walkman-like thing. How funny my reaction was when I finally saw my daughter’s recorder (bought from school) when she brought it home. Then, I Googled the word and guess what, almost all images gave me this kind of musical instrument. How naive am I? And I’m already 26!

I wonder what this portable pa system at Guitar Center actually is. Might be something really different from what’s in my mind again. lol

Here are my girls showing off their tops.

My Alyssa is now 7 years old and my Sophia was only 9 months (she’s now 10 months old). It just so happened that the weather was too warm that day that I thought it will be more comfortable for the little one to wear a more loose top. I was actually surprised to see how her sister’s top almost fitted her. Does this mean they can already share clothes this soon?

On the other note, their background was a newly bought TV and they were busy testing the picture with blue ray. I wonder if we still need to change the drawers to a flat panel TV stands, but I’m thinking it will be fine for now, when the budget permits. =)
