Eco Friendly Toys for Christmas
It’s only 70 days to Christmas. The weather’s getting colder and the day of our flight back home is getting nearer. It’s been 2 years (for me and Alyssa) and 3 years (for hubby) since we experienced the Pinoy Christmas – the most wonderful time of the year where for us, is best spent with our loved ones in the Philippines. It’s also the time where people enjoy anything about gifts – gift giving and gift receiving.

And although Chistmas is for everyone, we all believe that kids are the happiest during this season so preparing for the gifts to give the kids is both fun and exciting. Imagining the smile on their faces as they open them is just priceless. So far, I have found a shop that sells eco friendly toys and gifts and their wooden toys and the flip flap, the dancing flowers are just adorable, any kid would love to have.
How about you? Are your gifts ready yet? Better get them ready as early as now. Kids are waiting for them, you know?
Personalized Gifts for Teachers
Everytime Alyssa goes to next level, I always make it a point to give something to her teachers as a simple thank you note and as much as possible, I want the gifts personalized. It is for them to feel how thankful I am for all the times that they took good care of my daughter and for all the new things they taught her.
This was taken right after she arrived from school. I was really expecting that she’ll enjoy doing the cards, but…
There she goes… Zzzzzzzzz!!! Sleeping… waaah!!! Good thing I was able to make her write 3 Thanks You’s before she dozed off.It was hard! My hands are not crafty and so this is a milestone for me. ![]()
Here’s the finished product. I also baked chocolate crinkles and Alyssa wrote a thank you note in each card.
