Swimming Lessons Now On
18th March, 2010
She just started her swimming lessons yesterday. The father of one of her classmates told me that his daughter together with another classmate of them will be starting their first swimming lesson in the afternoon. The place is a walking distance from ours so I immediately called and enquired. Luckily, we got a place and were surprised that it’ll only be the three of them in that class.
I think these will be the 1st and last photos of her in the entire swimming lessons. I got scolded by one of the staffs (And yeah! In front of everyone!!!) that taking pictures isn’t allowed. I do understand why, but I hope they have at least posted it somewhere about this warning, right?
She was really excited when I told her about it, specially when she learned that two of her classmates will be there. She told me after, “Mum, I was a bit scared in the pool, because the water’s getting deeper and I have to stretch my legs so I won’t drown.” The two are more comfortable in the water, so I guess this lesson will really help her enjoy the water more. And I believe, learning how to swim is a must because it’s a life saving technique that she can bring with her forever.
